Our first name pays tribute to America's foremost founding father whose 300th birthday is celebrated in this, our 11th year of operation. The significance of the symbolism lies in the great man's characteristic honesty, integrity, industriousness, and inventiveness. We're informed by Benjamin Franklin's approach to commerce and to life, and proud to honor the best of America's traditions and values. Franklin Industries was established in 1995 and is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. Its creation was sparked by a timely opportunity for two groups with decades of experience in key disciplines across a number of industries (including appliances, foodservice equipment, housewares, consumer electronics, and water systems) to combine resources and leverage their expertise in a new venture. By raising the standards for product selection, performance, distribution, and service, and by harnessing the winds of change rather than fighting them, we feel that our hero, Benjamin Franklin, would approve of the growth and leadership position that Franklin Industries is achieving as a result.
